We want to make sure that you have an enjoyable experience when shopping with us online. As with any shopping experience, there are terms and conditions that apply to all our transactions. Items can be returned for an exchange within 7 days of purchase, if they are bought from www.rchotspot.com or any of our sales channels, and only if they fulfill the conditions below. 

1. You can only return an item for an exchange (within 7 days of purchase):

  • If the item is damaged/incorrect in its original packaging upon delivery; or
  • If the item is defective and not functional.  

2. Parts Replacement Warranty (7 Days for Manufacturer Defects)

  • If a product has a manufacturer defect (such as faulty motors, ESC, receiver, or other critical parts) within 7 days of purchase, RC Hotspot will provide a replacement part at no cost.
  • The defective part must be returned for inspection before a replacement is issued.
  • Exclusions: Damage caused by misuse, improper installation, modifications, or accidents will not be covered under this warranty.

3. Free Repair Service (1 Month)

  • Within 1 month of purchase, customers are entitled to free repair services for any manufacturer-related defects.
  • Customers will shoulder the shipping costs for sending and receiving the product.
  • If any replacement parts are needed, they will be charged separately.
  • Repairs for accidental damage, misuse, or modifications will not be covered under free service but may still be repaired at an additional cost.

4. General Warranty Exclusions

  • The following are NOT covered under warranty:
        •    Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, gears, or body shell scratches).
        •    Water damage unless explicitly stated as waterproof.
        •    Damage caused by crashes, misuse, or improper handling.
        •    Modified or tampered products (e.g., soldered electronics, custom wiring, or third-party modifications).
        •    Battery-related issues due to overcharging, deep discharge, or improper storage.
        •    Damage due to improper assembly of kits (for DIY models).

5. How to Claim Warranty or Exchange

  1. Contact RC Hotspot here or message us on our Facebook page and provide the following:
        •    Order number or purchase receipt
        •    Clear photos/videos of the defect or issue
  2. Our team will assess the issue and confirm whether it qualifies for warranty, repair, or exchange.
  3. If approved, the item must be returned to our store or shipped back (shipping fees shouldered by the customer).
  4. Repairs, replacements, or exchanges will be processed within 3-7 business days after we receive the item.

RC Hotspot reserves the right to refuse a return, exchange, or warranty claim if the product does not meet the stated conditions.

Customers are responsible for backing up or removing any personal modifications before returning an item.

Warranty terms are non-transferable and only apply to the original buyer.
